 Comfortable and Stylish for My WIDE Foot July 19, 2010

These rainboots are really comfortable for me and it's really amazing because I have wide feet and most rainboots are not made for people with wide feet. I had carefully read other reviews and bought them a size up and it fit my foot perfectly. Secondly these boots feel really good on my feet. Thirdly they're stylish. I can't wait to wear them when it rains.

I bought these several months ago after SOO much rain in Boston. I ordered a size up (normally I'm in an 8 to 8.5) so I got a 9. My calf is approximately 15 inches round and the top of the boot is not much bigger. It doesn't squeeze but throughout the day I can feel it rubbing (tall socks work great if this would bother you). Overall the quality seems great-great traction in the rain. I have the plum which I was sad about because I had wanted the orange which was unavailable. However when you get outside in the overcast weather the plum really comes out-it doesn't look black. I'll be pulling them back out tomorrow for more rain!

I purchased these boots since I work in cleaning up a butcher area, which requires using a power washer. While the boot itself keeps my feet dry, which is good, but it loses 1-star as they only come in a Size-11 instead of a Size-12. But other than that, these boots look and work great!!

I wore these boots for an entire weekend of Girl Scout camp, and they kept my feet comfortable (despite a later-diagnosed foot fracture), warm and dry through severe weather and freezing temps.
These boots look nice with pants, but are slightly shorter than the "Ellie" boot, which comes up to the knee.
My only complaint is that the insole is very flat. I would recommend purchasing a padded or gel insole from the drugstore to place inside the boot for added comfort.

Love these boots. Usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and bought the 9. They fit perfectly. Thanks to the reviewers who suggested going up a 1/2 size. The plum color is very dark...almost black looking. I am finding that the color is very rich and looks great with my skinny jeans. This material is much lighter than the standard rubber rain boot. They do make my feet sweat if I wear them all day. Bought another pair for my daughter. She wears a 7.5 and I bought her an 8. Would buy again.
